About Me
I have over 15 years experience in services marketing. Ten of those years were spent as Head of Marketing for a large regional law firm in Stoke on Trent, a multiservice firm providing business to business and business to consumer services.
I was responsible for the firm wide strategy development and the departmental strategy development creating marketing plans for the corporate team as well as individual plans for the diverse range of private client services. I was also heavily involved in setting up and running the award winning Grindeys Community Ltd, a company set up to manage the pro bono and fundraising activities of the firm.
Prior to that I worked as a marketeer in Financial Services and Health Insurance.
I am a Law and Business university graduate, a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and CIM qualified having achieved the Post Graduate Certificate in Marketing. I am also certified in Google Analytics and Google Adwords.

Bucks Law Plus was the first Alternative Business Structure (ABS) created by a
council in-house legal team. For the first time the team could trade outside the
County Council boundaries and although the team of 70 lawyers had the legal
expertise to do this, marketing and business development remained a mystery.
Julie was instructed to develop a coherent pricing and marketing strategy. She
worked with the individual teams to identify key work types and target markets.
Then, with a limited budget, she implemented a combination of digital marketing
and sales techniques to build the Bucks Law brand, generate leads and win new
